[301 leaves]. 15 lines to the page. 16,5x10 cm. Original full leather binding with miklep (traditional envelope flap), boards stamped with an embossed motifs throughout the boards. Stamped ornaments on the boards are gilt. First 10 leaves are detachable from the block. Minor period ink notations in text. Few pages have tears around the edges. The gold color on a few headpieces are faded. Overall in very good condition.

Manuscript on polished paper in Naskh calligraphy. Manuscript is complete with double-page illuminated 'unwan frontispiece, decorated with traditional ornamental motifs and coloured in maroon, purple, ochre, green and golden. The same colouring is used throughout the manuscripts for the forty-two floral ornamental marginal illuminated medallions, that are non-repeating in colour and design. Verses separated by small gold roundels, surah headings written in white thuluth script within gold-ground floral panels.

The scribe, mentioned in collophon is Seyyed Hafiz Muhammad al Shokri known as Aalemzadeh among the students of Seyyed Ahmed al Sharifi in the year of 1262.
