Mounted three part gelatin silver photograph of Funchal ca. 14.5 x 59cm (5.5 x 23 in.) Captioned in manuscript black ink on mount. Mount very slightly foxed, one photo part with some mild creasing but overall a very good panorama.
This interesting three part panorama of Funchal was taken from the coastline of Sao Martinho. The photograph shows what is today the Funchal ferry terminal in the centre of the panorama with the historic city centre behind and the hills of Sao Goncalo in the background.
