First Portuguese edition. Octavo. 148 pp. With two large folding tables. Later red quarter calf gilt lettered on the spine, original publisher’s printed wrappers bound in. Pages 145-146 and 147-148 misbound, second table with a tear, otherwise a very good copy.
Very Rare Bombay imprint, as only three copies found in Worldcat.
The author, a noted Portuguese writer, publicist and politician, conducted a study of Portuguese administration, trade and commerce, supplementing it with numerous statistical tables. First edition was published in French in 1867.
